She is Consuelo de Tejeda Morcillo Roldán, creator of the @earthlytaste project the place where she spreads the culture of sustainability through creative recipes made with local and seasonal products.
Consuelo is a young future winemaker, passionate about the world of wine and gastronomy. He studied Food Science and Technology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Oenology at the same university. Her passion for cooking began at the early age of 15, when, taking advantage of a stay abroad, she began her adventure in the kitchen trying a multitude of recipes from different cuisines from around the world.
Like many parents of teenagers, Consuelo’s parents thought that she would soon change her hobby or become more interested in other subjects. Nothing could be further from the truth, two years later Earthly taste would be born, the blog in which Consuelo shares her passion and her knowledge of gastronomy through original and healthy recipes. At first it was all very rudimentary, Consuelo took phone photos of the very simple recipes she was making. She would soon start to incorporate her very own creations, which arose as a result of her travels and stays abroad. Over time, what began as a small blog became a reference portal for thousands of foodies who read and prepared their recipes from more than 30 countries.
In 2021, Consuelo began her oenology master’s internship at our winery, with the aim of enhancing her training as an oenologist by developing this unique pairing project, in which she links her passion for wine and gastronomy with sustainability and caring for the planet.
Hand in hand with Consuelo, we will be sharing healthy recipes in the coming months, good for you and for the planet. Recipes that are born to be the ideal pairing for each of our wines. Recipes so that you can enjoy with your loved ones the wonderful pleasure of combining good food with good wine.
